95pts Vinous - The 2015 Gloria is mesmerizing, almost sensual, with an array of exotic spices, cedar, dried black cherries, cloves, black olives and grilled herbs. This impresses further on the palate, silky and serene, with depths of dark red fruit and spices propelled by juicy acidity. A twang of blood orange adds gravitas to the finish. Saline minerals mingle with gently grippy tannins, leaving a structured and tannic feel without slowing the 2015's momentum. This is a glorious rendition of Gloria, a varietal Lagein produced using 100% whole clusters during fermentation. It refines for two and a half years in large cask followed by extended aging in bottle. This is the current release; the next vintage we will see will be the 2020.
