Stereophonic is family, friends, partners and supporters working together. It was created by the Lefler family, with brilliant winemaking by Aaron Jackson.
Created Stereophonic Wine. Jason Lefler is a veteran wine buyer, writer and educator who spent a career discovering wine from around the world, and now selects the wines for Potion Collector.
A Cayucos native, Aaron made his first Petite Sirah under his own name in 2002, at 19. He studied wine and viticulture at Cal Poly, earned a master’s in oenology from the University of Adelaide, and worked at Saxum, Four Vines and ONX before building his winery in Paso Robles’ Tin City.
He’s known for westside Paso Robles reds and coastal Pinot Noir, and helped lead the push for the SLO Coast AVA, home to Into the Blue Again. Acclaimed for his wines, and as good a guy as you’ll meet in Paso Robles.

Have you ever wanted more? For us at Stereophonic, the best part of wine is not the flavor rollercoaster. It’s not the ancient farmhouse with moldy underground caves. It’s not the value or the prestige or the scarcity.
It’s not even the nuns, the zebras or the vampires. It’s all of that together. Wine combines so many different areas of interest and pleasure, and then it begins its evolution toward something even greater than the sum of its parts. It provides a Stereophonic Experience.
Stereophonic Wine is not just a brand name. It’s a kind of wine we’re hunting for, whether in our cellar or around the world.

I started Stereophonic after a career spent discovering wine from all over the world. I wanted to make new wines, ones I had never encountered anywhere else.
I completed that mission. Along the way, it rekindled the excitement of searching the wine trail again, this time with an eye to including people who aren’t usually invited into the world of wine. That search is Potion Collector.
