Most Sancerre is built for patios. This is the kind of Sancerre that leans closer to white Burgundy — richer, broader, and actually worth paying attention to. Old vines in Monts Damnés, one of the steepest and most serious sites in the appellation, farmed the hard way because there’s no other option.
