La Pimpante or “The Dapper” is their other “large” production wine, of which we get close to 50 cases every year of. Rosé made of 10% Pinot Noir, which is sourced from the neighboring village to the north, Verzenay. The remainder is composed similarly to the L’unanime, roughly 70% single vintage base wine and rest from various solera reserves, with a heavier percentage aged in oak barrels. Light salmon coloured and plush, just crushed berry fruits. Finely vinous and also with a light mousse —a lavish, coating, saturating and structrued rosé. Pair with steaks!
