Recognizing Our Label Artists

I’d like to take a moment to introduce the two artists who contributed to the 2019 vintage wine labels, Dominique Ramsey and Daniel Riise. 

DOMINIQUE RAMSEY @equinimodart

Dominique created our Blue Desert label, which features her slinky tiger hovering over a fresh kill of golden Albarino grapes.  Dominique’s color, inking and sense of composition are all dramatic and striking, and her work has so much humor, texture and psychedelia that I never get bored by it.  Thanks Dominique!

DANIEL RIISE @nostalgictree

Daniel’s instagram bio reads “I like to draw overgrown ruins” and that’s exactly why we asked him to do the label for The Dream of Spring.  Envisioned as a wine made far in the future when only ruins remain of our current world, Daniel’s art captures the feel of a future vintner stumbling across a lone, forgotten grapevine nourished by an eternal spring.  Done in his trademark pixel-style art, it captures the feel of epic fantasies lived out by young geeks at their computers, geeks who now try to bring that wonder to the physical world.  Thanks Daniel!
